Networking opportunities

The Chamber's programmes provide members with many opportunities to meet, gather and establish business contacts.

Trade Opportunities (New Service!
Trade seminars and annual trade missions organised by the Chamber enable members to develop business in the Asia-Pacific region. Some of the trade missions organised include missions to the People's Republic of China, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia.

We've also set up a new Trade Department to assist both Western Australian and Asia companies and individuals seeking a link with Western Australia and Asia.

A regular Trade Opportunities bulletin is make available every month and Chamber Members (
Corporate member Only) are entitled to receive contact details upon request of Asia and Australian companies or individuals interested in establishing trade and business links in several sectors and industries. To take advantage, simply sign up to the WACCC membership, submit your passport first name, middle name and Surname to the chamber for registering with the airline. Once your names are registered, you can start calling our office or nominated Travel Agency who will look after your flight booking and ticketing issuance.

Publications

All members receive annual issues of the Chamber's magazine, ABACUS. plus weekly  e-newsletter updates. The Abacus provides stories of interest including current business market information, trends and new developments in Australia-Asia relations.  Advertising opportunities are also available to communicate to other Chamber members.


How to Apply for Membership

Application for membership of the Chamber shall be made to the Chamber Council by application form. The Council shall consider all such applications and shall admit to the Chamber those persons who are eligible for membership.


NOTE: Corporate Members may nominate more than one representative. The annual Corporate Member subscription fee of $300 includes one representative. For all the subsequent representative the fee will be $150. Take for example, if a corporation nominates two representatives. The annual Corporate Member subscription fee will be $300 + $150 = $450.

A proposer who is a current member of the Chamber is required to endorse the application. Please contact the chamber office if you do not have a proposer.
